You have no idea when a day that starts out like any other day is going to change everything.
The near-death experience I had on the Illinois River in September of 1989 was that day for me.
After I’d gone through the dam and survived, had I not reached out to grab the branch that saved my life, I would not be here today. You see, that branch was my opportunity to stop and pause, think about what I was doing and where I was going.
This episode could be like that branch I grabbed onto nearly 30 years ago, a chance for you to stop and pause, to reflect and evaluate where your headed and a chance to make a life-saving choice.
Life gives you your own branch, every day, to make a new choice. To create a new experience. To grow.
But the branch won’t reach for you. You have to see the branch and reach out and grab it.
In this episode I’ll share my story to hopefully:
- Bring a greater awareness of opportunity in your life
- Help you get out of ruts or places where you’re stuck
- See where you need to think differently to make a different choice

Hi David, thank you so much for this ” branch” episode..it totally spoke of where I am at this time in my life, and will help me to make some huge decisions, that if I’m honest I have known for a year I have needed to make, but lacked the courage.its like the veil has lifted and I feel liberated and fearless..for the first time in decades…Many thanks again, Sarah
Thank you Sarah. I admire your courage in moving forward and congratulate you on your newfound awareness. I appreciate you listening!
