Everything in life is about pattern recognition. When you start to look closely at yourself most likely an interesting pattern begins to surface. There is something from your past that is creeping into your life and you don’t even realize it.
On this episode I want to delve into confidence and insecurity.
If you want to make progress in life you have to have confidence – real confidence. Most people don’t get that growing up. A deep and profound insecurity that they carried with them into adulthood.
Every morning we get up we get to create the day. From the moment our eyes open and our feet hit the floor we are in creation mode. You are either creating from a past experience or consciously choosing to create from something new.
So what is it that makes us feel safe to live in the past? This is where insecurity comes into play. When we attach things to our past, it can be nostalgic and emotional, but it’s not accurate.
You can be grateful for your past, but need to stay firmly rooted in the present.
In this episode you’ll learn:
- You’re dragging around a big sack of the past into your present and it’s keeping you stuck
- How taking a closer look at the animal kingdom can teach you about moving forward
- A two-part exercise you can do that will help you to bury your past for good
