Episode 085: Transcending Childhood Stories

Last week I shared an episode around Mother – Father wounds and I promised I’d go deeper into the subject.  This episode centers around my own childhood and those who had the most influence on me during those formative years.

When I was a child I spent a great deal of time with my grandparents. They weren’t always kind to each other, especially following a family tragedy that rocked us to the core.

Looking back on that time in my life, it dawned on me that if we look at what we went through in our early years we had some say in some way to choose this.  This may seem like a far out thought to some, but if you don’t consider this possibility you are destined to believe that everything is random.

We all have a purpose, and in order to fulfill that purpose growth is required.  When you bring consciousness and awareness to your life, and focus on the truth, the wounds you’ve carried with you from childhood begin to drift away.

In this episode you’ll learn:

  • Your unique story in the world is always being written and can be changed for the better
  • The benefits of holding onto a wound and what it can mean for you when it’s fully released
  • The little seeds of doubt that are renting space in your brain are not productive and confronting those head on provides your fastest path to growth
