What others think of us is a big deal, even to those who believe they are immune to the chatter. Thankfully I came across Vernon Howard’s work The Power of Your Supermind and learned to let go of what other people thought of me. His work is genius in that it focuses on the internal dialogue and getting you to a place where you are calm and confident. The interesting part of this is that it works for both the good and the bad, meaning that you won’t care if people criticize you or praise you. In the end, it has absolutely nothing to do with you.
In this episode you’ll learn:
-
- The power of your internal guidance and how important it is to listen
- How to gauge when a person’s opinion actually matters
- How insecurity keeps you from taking a stand and a way to get it back
