I’ve been thinking a lot about how easily people hand their power away, and it always comes back to the same principle: the authority of truth. When I’m rooted in what’s real, I don’t need anyone to validate my choices. I don’t need a title or a role to lead. Truth gives me the ground I stand on, and once I’m there, everything gets simpler.

I rely on a simple question: Is this true or not true?  It cuts through fear fast. Most hesitation comes from old stories, imagined outcomes, or the hope that certainty will magically show up. When I come back to truth, the noise drops away. Choices become clearer. Action becomes obvious. That’s the quiet strength the authority of truth creates.

In sales and leadership, truth removes the pressure to perform. I’m not trying to impress anyone or win approval. I’m simply honest about the value, the situation, and my intention. That honesty creates authority, not the kind you force, but the kind people feel. When I stay aligned with what’s true, conversations move more naturally, and decisions unfold without struggle.
