I’m so pumped to share another episode in my Movers & Shakers series, where I feature amazing people who are making a huge impact in not only their lives but the lives of others as well.
This week I had the absolute pleasure to sit down with Todd Herman, Peak Performance Coach and best-selling author of The Alter Ego Effect: The Power of Secret Identities To Transform Your Life.
Back in the late 1970’s my parents divorced and we moved from the quiet desert life of Arizona to the inner-city experience just outside of Chicago. So many things were new to me, and it was a huge culture shock. In order to fit in, and to give me the courage to embrace the change, I created an alter ego based on the character Rambo. It helped me cope internally so I could show up differently externally. That is exactly what Todd’s new book is all about!
During our conversation Todd shares with me the alter ego he once created for himself and the different alter egos that people create in order to show up differently on their Field of Play, whether it be on the phone, in the boardroom, or on an actual field.
In this episode you’ll learn:
• The identity of your ‘Super’ Self and what stops it from coming out
• The common thread successful people have that lives in the creation of an alter ego
• The power of story and how a strong emotional attachment drives your transformation
