Back when I worked on a forklift, I changed three things in my attitude that transformed my whole life:

- acted like I love what I did
-
- did everything to the best of my ability
- did everything to the best of my ability
-
- treated everybody with total respect
The first one—acting like I love what I did—completely changed my perception. “Love” is a feeling of resonance. When you’re in harmony with something, you feel that resonance within you. It creates a sense of passion. You can use love proactively in your life and see massive changes take place right in front of your face.
In today’s episode you’ll learn:

- How to think about the state and quality of everything in your life by asking, “Am I in love? ”—whether it’s with another person, your work, yourself, or anything else

- When you’re in love with something, you don’t have to hold it in your mind with your will—it’s always there at the forefront of your mind

- If you’re not in love with something, you shouldn’t be doing it—or at the very least, you should change how you’re perceiving it

- Changing your evaluation of something can allow you to fall in love with it more easily

- Your passion needs to be fueled by your deeper desire (think: a magnificent obsession)
Look at everything in your life—including people, your work, your home, your car, your pets, and everything else. Ask, “Am I in love?” Is there a feeling of passion around everything in your life? If not, what needs to change?
Once you get to the truth inside of you, you can begin to determine whether (and what) you want to change. If you’re not in love with something, change it—or change your perception of it.
