When facing a challenge, many people hear a voice in their head that gets them to believe they’re having trouble with the tasks they’re doing. They start to feel shaky on the inside. They tell themselves, “I’m no good.” “I don’t know if I’ll ever get there.” “When will it happen for me?” “Is this for me?” “I’m not feeling well today.” “My energy’s low.” “Nobody will say yes.” “I don’t have enough people to talk to.” “I have a stack of debt.”
These are the voices in our head that hold us back. They’re based on subconscious programming. The way to change this is to understand that your belief can be used as a tool. You can choose to believe the opposite of whatever the problem is. That provides instant change.

- Your subconscious mind wants to complete whatever pattern you’ve created (or whatever pattern was created somewhere in your life) to the Nth degree

- The friendliest voice to your subconscious mind is your own mouth—i.e., your own words—so encourage yourself every day and don’t tolerate negative talk

When you’re going after a big goal, you need to engage a new belief system to consciously override whatever the subconscious program is that’s stopping you. Keep that at the front of your mind and remind yourself of it every day.
The more you say it—the more you see it in your mind—the more it goes into the subconscious, where it literally takes over and becomes habitual.
