It’s no surprise why people stray away from this topic based on how dark the subject matter is. Once the images get into your mind, horrific images, they are hard to ignore. However, any kind of evil or horror that exists in the world never goes away by simply turning a blind eye and ignoring the issue. It takes brave people standing up and bringing awareness to these atrocities which forces others to take notice. That is when true change occurs, and we can all be a part of that movement.
